She walked searching and searching…she could see something reflecting in the distance and ran towards it…
“My phone!!!” she bent down and it was a false alarm just an empty bottle…
“shit!”
She stood up turning around only to be frozen in her place….frozen by his presence…
“Joury?” he asked shocked, confused and a bit angry.
“*breathing heavily* S…Saif?”

Her heart was beating aggressively in her chest…her shortage of breath and lastly her doubtful eyes. Was she really seeing him? Did she really hear him? Is this a trick of the mind? She contemplated whether or not he was really there…a few feet away.

He walked towards her…his eyes focused on her…he was a foot away from her. She stepped back as reality hit her like a brick...

His eyes scanned the beach to see if she was with anyone…but no one came to view…he could see her eyes twinkle with fear and yearning…

He wasn’t sure what feeling was overtaking but he needed his questions answered…

“Joury shitsaween ihnee ib hal wagt?” the way he said made her realize that he knew she was here…as if he knew all along she was staying at this resort.

“Joury?” his eyes were serious…she couldn’t read him…not even a bit which led her to being more nervous.

“I..em…uh...ph.”
“jawbeeni!”
“phone!”

He loved how cute she looked terrified trying to find her words… holding back his smile and the urge to pull her into his arms…instead his brows furrowed.

She thought he was getting more impatient.

“shga9dich?”
“I lost…Dropped!! *she corrected* I dropped my phone…there” she pointed behind her.

He removed his eyes from hers and looked in the direction she was pointing.

“ma3indich sa3a?!” he asked coldly
“this doesn’t concern you!” she snapped back…why the hell is he talking to me like that she kept repeating
“doesn’t concern me?” he raised his eye brows.
“ye..yes*stepping back*”
He held her from her upper arms near her shoulders pulling her fast towards him.
“Then tell me what does?!”
“Saif!” she gasped. Her eyes watering.

For the first time she felt like he was going to hurt her…cause her pain of some sort….she just felt that..

As he kept his hands on her he recalled her last words to him…those crushing words…

I don’t love you anymore

“Fahmeeni! Ana shino binisba lich?!”
“wh..what?...we’ve been through this…Saif please*looking down*”
“I’m not letting go until I get what I want”
“what do you want?!!!”
“answers”

She was sleepy and it was getting late…9ali7 and 3bdalla must be back by now…she thought.

“fine”

He held her wrist pulling her behind him…she was extremely tired but his presence was definitely keeping her awake. He sat on a few steps and turned to face her so that her knee was between his legs.

“anna shino binsbalich?”
“na3am?”
“anna. Shino binsbalich?.” He repeated slowly.
“why do you want to know?”
“I ask the questions and you’ll give me my answers”
“you…we were…um…I don’t know”
“abee jawab”
“I don’t know!”
“Joury!!!”
“Saif!! I DON’T KNOW!”
“You do bas you don’t want to admit it”

God it’s like he can read me so easily she thought

She was burdened with that question…she loves Saif…doesn’t she?

“You…you were different… and we had a great thing going…em..you *deep breath* meant a lot to me and for the period that we were together you were…em..*whispering* everything good in my life”

My heart beats were roaring from how loudly they sung. My throat was dry and my head was throbbing…. I’ve never said that to him…crap ugh!! I take it back…I don’t actually but his silence is killing me.

“is that all?” I asked trying to stand up but his knees squeezed my knee, which was between his, firmly into place.
“Joury majawbtay ilsu2al”
“what? I did!”
“ana shino binsibalich il7eeen?”
“you know the answer…there’s nothing between us now”

I stood up again and again his gigantic knees got a hold on my knee and squeezed hard restricting my movement. He held my wrist pulling back down on the step.

“next question…lal7een 3indich il mobile il3a6aytich iya”

WHERE THE HELL DOES HE GET THIS FROM?! WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?!!
“wh?”
“yes or no?”
“yes”
“3ayal laish matrideeen?” his brows were furrowed
“there’s nothing to talk about! Mabayna shay”
“ilbaina intaha 3ala ay asaas?”
His questions are taking me off guard…HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO ANSWER THEM?!! My eye lids are heavy! I want to curl up and just die…
“Saif...it3arif iljawaab”
“itha a3arf chan ma sa2alt”
“3ala asaaas innny ma agdar akamil weyak…irti7t il7een?!”
“laish matigdereen anisa Joury?”
“How many times do we have to get caught for you to realize that this can never work!”
“You believe that?”
“Do I believe what?” I was so sleepy and when I’m sleepy agafil.
“Do you believe that we can’t work?!”
“Let’s get serious for a moment Saif…do you see a future with me? I mean you keep asking me to be with you as a girlfriend after numerous times being caught! I can’t do what you want me to do!”

I want to be with him…I do but then…what if 9ali7 finds out...what if I get caught again…I mean it’s a good thing no one died but what if I do get caught …wait hold on he never said anything about wanting me back why am I making a big deal out of this…

The only way Saif and I could be together is if it was official…I’m 22…he’s 24…a lot of people get married at that age…but…UGH! I just…I don’t feel like I’m ready for that commitment!

“a5ir su2al” thank god “It7beeni Joury?” he asked me with the most hurtful looking eyes known to mankind…just looking at them could make the coldest guy tear up.

Why is he asking me this now?!!!

“Saif lazem aroo7 ta2a5ar ilwagt” I announced getting up but he held my wrist and his legs held me in place.
“Jawbeeni oo bamshee”
“Saif itha maney ‘3al6ana ana mjawba hal su2al min gabl”
“Jawbee il7eeeen” he got up causing me to look up at him…
“5ara” he whispered looking behind me…my heart sunk to my stomach as I got the courage to turn my head towards whoever was behind me.

Oh God Please Don’t Let It Be 9ali7!!! My heart shredded as my eyes met his and relief washed over me.

“Sayoof imsh weyaay…ti9b7een 3ala 5air Joury” he motioned for me with his head to head back and a tiny apologetic smile on behalf of Saif … he just simply saved me from answering that question. I walked away when…

“Jara7 degeega oo akon weyak” he held my wrist forcing my to turn towards him.
“bas jawbai ilsu2al Joury” he said quietly.
“Saif I’m tired please”
“yes or no Joury mayabeela shay”
I shook my head.
“no?...no as in you don’t love me? or you’re not answering that question??”
“no to you…to me…to us…please let go”
“Saif hidha”
“latida5al ! Joury!”
“na3am?!”
“it7bineee?”
“yes! You happy now?!!... Now let go!!”

He did…with a faint smile.

“that’s all I needed to know” he whispered in my ear his hand on my lower back pushing me forward as he said that… as much as I was tired…exhausted I wanted to cry so badly…I just had that urge…I wanted someone to comfort me to tell me everything is going to be alright…that this nightmare is going to end soon.

That somehow Saif and I might actually end up in each other’s arms… I do love him that I’m certain about but does he?

I kept walking…anyone who’ll see me might think I’m drunk but I’m not…I just that sleepy…
It’s a long way back and I still didn’t find my phone…guess I need to remember that tomorrow.

10 mints later….

Must sleep….must sleep….sleep goooooood…..

Every thought in my mind was desperately screaming for some shut eye…I pushed the sliding door open and threw myself on the couch in front of me…there was a lump there which I managed to push out of the way for some peaceful sleep…the last think I remember was a loud thud after my push.

“Mino il7aywaan??!!... Joury?*confused, shocked and sleepy*”

I was dead asleep…lying on the comfy couch allowing my body to have its rightful rest.

The lump Joury shoved off the couch was no lump at all…it was none other than 9ali7 innocently crashing on the couch too lazy to climb up the stairs to his bedroom…

He fell hard against the ground causing him to wake up frustrated.

“Mino il7aywaan??!!... Joury?*confused, shocked and sleepy*”

Joury didn’t really grasp that she actually threw herself over 9ali7 and that she managed to push him over the edge.

He was tired, sleepy and confused to why the hell would his Joury do that when he saw the open sliding door of the living room…he was too tired to think about it so he got up closed the sliding door and crashed right next to Joury…

“I was here first” he whispered mumbling under his breath unconsciously wrapping an arm around her pulling her closer to his chest.

And so Joury fell asleep in 9ali7’s protective arms that night…it was a peaceful night…for the both of them on some sort of level.

The hours passed as they were sound asleep not bothered until the sun decided to grace them with its blinding rays…

Joury tried moving but couldn’t…something was holding onto her tightly…she realized that there was an arm around her…

“wh?... 9ali7?? 9ali7?”
“hmmm?”
“9ali7! Goom!” her heart raced…this is not a position she wanted to be in…
“3asher degayeg”
“oh my god”
“shhhh”
“9ali7 please goom”
He shifted his postion crushing Joury beneath him.
“9ali7…please…I can’t. breathe!...”

he slowly opened his gorgeous eyes to notice his Joury was right there...the first thing his eyes landed on was her…internally it was the best way to walk up but it hit him that this isn’t the right way though.

He quickly got off her allowing her to jump off the couch.

“What the hell are you doing sleeping next to me??”
“ana?!! Ana illy kint naym hnee gablich, intay il3azamtay roo7ich”
“yalla 3ad 9ali7 that’s not true I slept here!!*pointing on the couch*”
“laaa wallaaa? Tawnee adreee *cocky smile*”
“What’s with the attitude?”
“ta3alaay wain kintay ams?”
“sh….shino?”
“ams…wain. Kintay?” he looked serious
“out? *softly smiling*”
“Joury?*raising an eyebrow with a faint smile*”
“I’m sorry but I dropped my phone and I went to get it and I wasn’t planning on staying out that long but I couldn’t find it and No I couldn’t wait for you guys…” she said in one breathe
“wain ga3deen Joury? Matadreeen inny Martha a7ad minkom yi6la3 bilayl ibroo7a?!!”
“I dropped my phone!!”
“malee sh’3ool! Zain ma9ar feech shay”
“I'm sorry i won't do it again i promise...wait hold on don’t turn this on me now what was that?!*pointing on the couch*”
“which part was confusing?”
“9ali7!” he laughed.
“we fell asleep shtabeeni agool?”
“ugh! Whatever” she started to walk away to wash up and all…

She went to the bathroom did everything she needed to do, wore a simple shirt with a deep v-neck and a cardigan ontop of it with her dark skinny jeans and walked out to find him shirtless...

“for the love off all things beautiful put a shirt on”

“9ali7 have you been drinking oo ana madreee?” he laughed placing on a hoodie and walked
passed her grabbing her wrist at the last mint pulling her behind him.

“waaay! Where are we going?”
“out”
“but we just woke up”

He held her hand as they walked toward the resorts lobby…

“good morning sir…may I help you?”

“yes...” Joury looked back and forth between 9ali7 and the receptionist.

What he said next took her off guard…
